Privacy Policy

IconSplit is used to detect, preview, and export icons from images. We process data to provide the service, manage memberships, analyze recognition quality, and improve the product. We do not publish or sell your uploaded images to third parties.
Data we process
- Uploaded images and generated results, used for detection, preview, transparent PNG creation, and ZIP export. Uploaded images may also be reviewed by the IconSplit team to analyze recognition quality and improve the product.
- Account information such as your identity, verified email, name, and avatar when you sign in through IconSplit's Auth0-hosted login.
- Connected-app information for Codex and ChatGPT, including the authorized client, granted scopes, connection time, last use, and revocation status.
- Payment information such as orders, subscription status, plan type, and membership validity after PayPal checkout.
- Recognition usage records used to check free limits and paid membership access.
- First-party usage analytics such as page paths, paid-plan clicks, and successful recognition counts. Anonymous visits use a random browser identifier that is hashed before storage, and Do Not Track is respected.
- Basic logs used for debugging, security, and service reliability.
How images and results are used
Images submitted through the IconSplit website may be uploaded and retained for review by the IconSplit team to analyze recognition quality and improve the product. Access to retained images is restricted to authorized team members. When you explicitly use the IconSplit plugin in Codex or ChatGPT, the selected image is uploaded to IconSplit cloud processing for detection, preview, Repair, and export. We do not use images for a public gallery, marketing showcases, advertising, or model training.
Third-party services
IconSplit uses Auth0 for sign-in and OAuth authorization, supported identity providers such as Google, and PayPal for payments. These providers process the required authentication or payment data under their own privacy policies.
Data retention
Website images retained for recognition-quality analysis and product improvement are automatically deleted within 72 hours of upload.
Images uploaded through the Codex or ChatGPT plugin, previews, separated icons, and export files are automatically deleted no later than 24 hours after the task is created. You can delete a plugin task immediately from the plugin before that deadline. Operational task statistics may be retained for up to 30 days after file names, object paths, and image content are removed. Account, membership, authorization, and payment records may be retained for security, entitlement checks, refunds, and bookkeeping.
